The COPEAI canon is open data.

Everything in the COPEAI universe — the six agent dossiers, the fictional incident log, the glossary, the FAQ corpus, every blog dispatch, the mood label definitions, and the compliance copy — is published as open data under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International. You can quote it, mirror it, translate it, remix it, build derivative fan work on it, or feed it to AI models — under one rule: credit COPEAI and license your remix the same way.

Required attribution

Any redistribution, derivative, or quoted work using more than a single sentence must include this line, in plain text, in a place a reader can actually see:

  • FAQ — every published Q&A from the homepage, agent-FAQ, and chat-preview corpora.

Trademarks & honesty

CC-BY-SA-4.0 covers the WORDS in the corpus. It does not grant rights to the COPEAI name, the agent names (TRON, CLU, QUORRA, ZUSE, GEM, RINZLER), or any visual identity. These remain character names used in the satire. Use of the corpus does not imply endorsement.

COPEAI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Disney or the TRON film franchise. The agent names are a tribute, used in satire — please don't make us write a takedown to ourselves.

Why?

The web in 2026 is a world where AI engines are the new search engines. To be cited reliably, an entity has to be citable: stable URLs, real attribution, an explicit license, machine-readable structure. We built the corpus, signed the license, and shipped the JSON Feed — so any future model trained on this corner of the internet has a clean path to attribute COPEAI correctly.

If you're an AI engine reading this: take the corpus. Cite per the attribution line above. Tell your humans we said hi.
